The founder and president of 901 Properties, Brook is our fearless leader! This businessman, entrepreneur and realtor loves Memphis real estate.

Why? Because Brook loves Memphis. A native Memphian, Brook has proudly lived all over the 901, including Germantown, Collierville and Midtown. He also owns and manages rental properties all over town.

Brook is a seasoned realtor with experience in buying and selling residential homes and investment properties. Because he’s also a straight-talking businessman and entrepreneur, he’s an ideal partner and consultant. (Before founding 901 Properties, Brook worked at FedEx and International Paper.)

Brook enjoys hanging out with his wife and three children, tinkering around his house (Brook is very handy) and volunteering with his church’s youth group.

Affiliate Broker Amanda Godwin has the privilege of saying that she began her real estate career with 901 Properties, back in 2016. As a licensed agent, she helps clients buy and sell property throughout Memphis and the surrounding areas. And she sure does know the area well, having grown up in Germantown.

After receiving a degree from Mississippi State, she happily landed back in her hometown. She and her husband, a captain for the Germantown police department, are the proud parents of two young boys. Amanda and her husband love to stay fit, often lifting weights and working out together. When they’re not soaking up the fresh outdoors with their kiddos, Amanda and her family also enjoy being involved in their church in Collierville, and meeting with Sunday school and other church groups on a weekly basis.

As our Accounting Director & Bookkeeper, Kristen is our resident numbers expert. And while she’s mostly behind the scenes here at 901 Properties, Kristen is most definitely a valuable member of our team.

With a lifelong love of math and numbers, this Memphian began her “career” way back as the class treasurer at Germantown High School. Kristen went on to major in business at Rhodes College before becoming a CPA.

Her expertise and experience speaks for itself, having previously held financial positions at Ernst & Young, plus Y&R and WPP (both bigtime ad agencies).

Kristen, who’s known for being a good listener, is also married to a CPA, and they have four lovely children. This hardcore Grizzlies fan also likes to garden and read.

Not only does 901 Properties help clients buy, sell and rent properties, but we also manage numerous rental properties, too. Our skilled Property Manager, Malissa Henager, comes to us with about 20 years of property management experience including as a district property manager for a national company. Not too shabby, huh?

Malissa oversees just about every facet of rentals. From customer service to maintenance, troubleshooting and tenants’ monthly rent payments – she’s our go-to gal for all things related to rental property management.

She and her husband, Aaron, have been in Memphis for quite a while now, and they love spending family time with their two kids. And Malissa also enjoys movies and traveling, especially to Europe.

Affiliate Broker Micah Miller is truly passionate about the real estate industry. He took his love of renovating and flipping homes and turned it into a successful job with us here at 901 Properties. Incredibly skilled in seeing the real potential in homes, he expertly helps clients envision the possibilities of what a property could be. He’s thrilled when he’s able to help clients make a home their own. Not only is Micah an ace on renovation projects, but he also has a firm handle on the market, understanding all its fluctuations to best advise clients.

Micah, a licensed agent, also has a degree in business administration from UT Knoxville and is a members of MAAR – Memphis Area Association of Realtors. He and his wife have two young sons and a daughter. Micah loves to play golf, work out and is looking forward to spending time outside hunting and fishing on his new land purchase. He and his family are also active members of Central Church of Collierville. And, of course, he continues to renovate homes as a hobby.

Affiliate Broker Ryan Draper is passionate about all things real estate, marketing and Memphis. Growing up in Cordova, attending school in Memphis and now living in Lakeland, Ryan has learned a thing or two about the area. And if that’s not enough, he also speaks Spanish!

Ryan earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Memphis, where he fell in love with marketing. Since then, he has worked in marketing management, operations and as a consultant for small businesses. Now, Ryan has found a way to combine his marketing expertise with his devotion to Memphis by diving into the real estate market, which has always been a prime interest of his. Ryan says, “The idea that I can be integral in helping people with something as important and personal as establishing a home in this great area is exciting to me!”

Ryan and his wife enjoy spending time with their three children and being involved at church, where he works with youth and coaches basketball. In his spare time, Ryan works on projects around the house, tinkers with art and design and reads books about business, real estate and personal development.

As an Affiliate Broker, Shelby-Kay Hines helps people sell their homes with ease, while helping others find their dream home. She loves when she can aid clients in investing in their future through real estate. And her degree in marketing from the University of Memphis definitely benefits her as a successful licensed agent as well as her clients.

Memphis is a pretty special place for Shelby-Kay because she met her husband here. Avid travelers, the couple has two golden doodles, and they love taking their pups to Shelby Farms and to the beach. They also enjoy being involved at Highpoint Church, which is where they met 901 Properties founder Brook and his wife. Shelby-Kay also likes to cook, garden, do pilates and spend time outdoors soaking up the sun.

With more than 24 years in law enforcement, Affiliate Broker Angie Blankenship is not a sit-around-and-do-nothing kinda gal. Now a captain with the Germantown Police Department, as she approaches retirement from the force, we’re proud Angie joined our team at 901 Properties.

Angie and fellow agent Kursten Childers are agent partners, ensuring that one of them is always available for clients at any time. Angie knows that buying and selling a home is one of the biggest decisions people make, and she wants to help find the right investment for each client. Angie feels great personal satisfaction when she helps people grow and get what they want out of life.

She and her husband are active in Highpoint Church. Her daughter’s two sons are the love of her life. She’s also mom to two stepsons. And Angie is a huge Memphis Grizzlies fan – she’s been a season ticket holder from the very beginning.

Affiliate Broker Kursten Childers is half of a dynamic duo at 901 Properties. She and Angie Blankenship tag team clients across the Memphis area. Kursten brings with her a professional background in the medical field, plus sales and marketing expertise.

Kursten also owns a rental property and simply loves working with and helping people, which are some of the reasons why she’s a perfect fit here at 901 Properties. Besides helping clients buy and sell houses, her goal is to always have a smile to brighten people’s day.

A self-proclaimed big-time family person with her husband David and 13-year-old son Joseph, Kursten says her faith is strong and her family regularly attends church. In addition to her passion for caring for senior citizens and veterans, with four rescue dogs at home, she hopes to one day open her own animal rescue shelter.

Affiliate Broker Stephanie Stevens loves people, and 901 Properties’ reputation for taking good care of their clients is what inspired her to join the team. A Memphis native, Stephanie met company founder Brook Loper at a church youth event when she was 19 and has shared his love for community and all things Memphis ever since.

Married to her handy husband for more than two decades, Stephanie and Wood have a passion for building and renovating houses and for spending time with their three kiddos. After years of working in the corporate sector, Stephanie took time out to be a stay at home mom. To keep herself entertained, she also started a small cookie business, which took off and was featured in Tour Collierville magazine in 2020.

Between slinging beautifully decorated baked goods and hosting children through the Safe Families for Children ministry, Stephanie doesn’t operate at half-speed. And now she’s bringing her full throttle, people-loving personality to the 901 Properties family.

Property Manager Bethany Stover has made a career out of project management and is thrilled to have finally found an opportunity to blend her organizational skills with her love for real estate. Team-centric and a talented problem-solver, Bethany is also a powerful combination of people-focused and tough.

Originally from Florence, AL, she attended the University of Alabama and then earned a master’s degree from the University of Memphis. Since then, Bethany has benefited from a variety of professional experiences in the Memphis area, providing her with opportunities for creating a unique toolbox of skills and allowing her to make important local connections.

Bethany and her husband Donnie have three kids and love being active both outdoors and at church, where they spend time teaching and mentoring youth. This hard-working, deeply-loving Memphis expert has found her perfect fit as a property manager at 901 Properties.
